Bringing the pothos into your space brings expansive energy and reminds you that growth often comes from the toughest of times.
The beauty of this plant is resilience, it grows and adapts to its new environment in a way the resembles the fall season. You may notice this plant lose a few leaves in the first weeks after you bring it welcome it into your space. It does this because the leaves that grow in its previous space were wired to function there. Instead of using energy to sustain old growth, it self-prunes and focuses energy on growing leaves that work best in the new environment. Spend time with this plant as you adjust to a new normal.
Able to adapt to many light settings, the pothos simply asks that you do not allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Doing this causes the plant to redistribute moisture and nutrients, which means leaves will drop more often to maintain the success of new ones. The richness of the potho’s color and variegation is determined by how much light is gets. If you plant’s color becomes muted, move it to a sunnier spot.
Make it Mindful:

All parts of this plant are poisonous if ingested, it’s toxic to humans and animals.
